Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)

What Would You Do If….

  1. You discover a breakdown in communication with your spouse or significant other?
  2. You suspect a loved one is abusing drugs or alcohol?
  3. Your father dies unexpectedly of a heart attack and you are having a difficult time dealing
    with the grief?
  4. Your personal problems start interfering with your job?

Montgomery County understands that everyone experiences some type of problem, loss, grief, or depression at various times in life. We also recognize that these experiences may affect your ability to do your job or relate to family and friends. EmployeeCare can help you sort out your feelings and come to terms with ways to resolve your personal or work-related problems.

The EAP through EmployeeCare gives you access to confidential counseling, information and personalized referrals for help in dealing with the problems of everyday life. It is also voluntary. And given the confidentiality of the program, only you will know if you choose to take advantage of the services. EmployeeCare’s services are available at no cost to you and your dependents regardless of whether you enroll in any benefits.
