Q. How do I make sure my routine eye exam is covered at 100%?
A. In order for the visit to be covered at 100% under the Medical Plan, you must use an Aetna network ophthalmologist or optometrist. A list of participating providers is at www.mcbenefits.org under the Vision tab.Q. What kind of vision coverage do I have?
A. Montgomery County employees and their eligible dependents are able to receive a routine eye exam covered at 100% under the Medical Plan as long as you use an in-network provider. Contact lens fittings are not considered part of a routine eye exam and may not be covered.Q. Do I receive any materials discounts or benefits?
A. Yes, you can use your Aetna ID card to receive the EyeMed discount on lenses, frames, and contact lenses from participating EyeMed providers (LensCrafters, Pearle Vision, Sears, and Target).
