Paid Leave
(Board of County Commissioners Employees)

Paid Personal Leave
Full-time employees receive 80 hours of PPL effective January 1 of each year. During the initial probationary period, regular employees are allowed 50% of their credited paid personal leave. This time can be used for scheduled or unscheduled absences and for short term illnesses.

Long Term Sick Leave
Employees may accrue an unlimited amount of long term sick leave available for use of serious long-term illnesses. Long term sick leave and Family Medical Leave provisions apply where appropriate.
